Test method: The test equipment is one air plasma cutting machine with four different powers, and each model has six sets of electrodes and nozzles.Install the cutting torches of the four air plasma cutting machines on the cutting trolley of the CNC cutting machine in sequence.Each type of air plasma cutting machine must complete the whole process of all tests individually, that is, use different cutting speeds and different air pressures to cut'A3 steel plates of different thicknesses (cooled with tap water).Cutting is carried out gradually from low air pressure to high air pressure, from low speed to high speed.The air pressure is adjusted by the filter control valve, and the cutting speed is controlled by the CNC cutting machine.The cut part is a 100×100 mm square part.When the cutting speed is too high and the air pressure is too low, the inclination of the cutting surface is large.This is because the speed is too fast, the arc column tilts back seriously, and the melting speed of the lower half of the slot cannot keep up.Therefore, the plane size of the cut part is small.The size of the lower plane is large, especially when cutting right-angled parts. The bottom of the corner is slit into a circular arc instead of a right angle.If the cutting speed is too low and the air pressure is too high, the dross will be serious, difficult to remove, and the finish will be poor.If the cutting speed is appropriate and the working air pressure is too high, the stiffness and roundness of the arc column will be damaged, and the cutting ability will decrease. The cutting finish is poor.Therefore, to cut steel plates of different thicknesses, different cutting power, cutting speed and working air pressure need to be selected reasonably to obtain good cutting results.According to the test results of four different power models, the optimal cutting parameters of different power cutting machines for cutting steel plates of different thicknesses are shown.According to these data, we have carried out practical cutting in some manufacturers, and the effect is very good, and the cutting quality is greatly improved.
